What the service is

hotelmaxx is an information service. We tell you when a hotel price falls and how members have reduced that price further. We are not a travel agency, we do not take bookings, and we are not a party to any reservation you make.

Rates change, and alerts do not guarantee a price

Hotel pricing moves constantly and without notice. A rate that has fallen sharply can return to normal within hours, and often within a day. Award availability, transfer bonuses, and card benefits change the same way.

An alert tells you what a rate was when we found and verified it. It is not a reservation, a hold, or a quote, and nothing in it is guaranteed to still be available or still be priced the same when you reach the booking page. We do not control hotel inventory or pricing and cannot reinstate a rate that has moved. Savings figures shown anywhere on this site describe real past bookings and are not a promise of what you will pay.

For that reason, treat a drop as something to act on promptly and always confirm the final price, dates, and cancellation terms with the hotel or booking provider before you commit.

Card benefits are between you and your issuer

Credits, statement rebates, and loyalty programme rules are set by the issuer or hotel group, not by us. Check your own terms before relying on a benefit. Nothing we publish is financial advice.

Membership and billing

Club membership renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account. We'll find hotel deals offering at least $600 in combined potential savings across your five tracked countries within your first 30 days or refund your membership fee. No booking required. Combined potential savings means the difference between the comparison price and the drop price across the nights covered, summed over every drop posted in your five countries in that window. It may span multiple stays and multiple sets of available dates, and it counts whether or not you book.

Acceptable use

Club content is for members. Redistributing alerts, the stack write-ups, or Discord content outside the community ends the membership without a refund.
